WORDS OF WISDOM: Our new Inspirations collection

We love that you love our inspirations – those thought-provoking, occasionally deep, sometimes funny, always mull-able words of wisdom we offer daily beside the mast, or at the top of the news column. it seems you read them, you comment on them, and send us suggestions, (shout out to Colin Hunter).

We don’t utter them ourselves, of course – well except for our Vicki Borenstein – but we do mine the depths of humankind for worthy musings from society’s best and brightest, from Shakespeare to Mark Twain, Stephen Hawking to Albert Einstein, Lincoln to Obama, Linus (Charles M. Shultz) to Lennon, the Dalai Lama to Winston Churchill, and Margaret Walker to Adrienne Clarkson. Amongst others. Many, many others.

After all, supreme wisdom can appear from anywhere (nowhere), even from the most unexpected sources, like Homer Simpson’s perspicuous observation: “Beer – the cause of, and solution to, all of life’s problems.”

With this in mind, and in flagrant capitulation to “popular demand,” we’ve created a repository for our daily “Inspirations” – so that you may always recall past insights, no longer need to save them, and, selfishly, to help us find them when presented with that ubiquitous query: “What was that great quote you had last week/month/year?”

Here’s a link for today, https://travelindustrytoday.com/travel-industry-today-inspirations/ but you can always check out the callout box on our home page on the right side, about half-way down, slugged “Be Inspired” and animated with a light bulb – symbolizing both the insights offered, but also our bright idea to collect them in one place for all time.

Indeed, if we do say so ourselves (sort of): “Travel Industry Today: super genius!” (adapted quote, Looney Tunes).
