VEGAS BACK WITH A BANG: July 4 fireworks to celebrate full re-opening

In a bid to show the world that “Vegas is back” and re-opened at 100 percent capacity, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority plans to throw an epic US Independence Day fireworks celebration on July 4.

Featuring fireworks by Grucci, the Fourth of July extravaganza will begin at 11 p.m. with a themed, coordinated, fireworks spectacular from the rooftops of ARIA Resort & Casino, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Resorts World Las Vegas, The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Skypod, Treasure Island Las Vegas and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

In addition to celebrating July 4, the destination will be celebrating the return of live entertainment after Clark County, which includes the Las Vegas metropolitan area, returned to pre-pandemic guidelines, removing all restrictions involving capacity limits, large gatherings and more, on June 1.

“Las Vegas is a city built on hospitality and entertainment, and we are thrilled to welcome visitors back…” said Kate Wik, chief marketing officer for the LVCVA. “The excitement throughout the destination is palpable, and we know the pent-up demand to visit is real. We have been waiting for this moment…”

Other fireworks throughout the destination on Fourth of July weekend will include Plaza Hotel & Casino, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa & Casino, and Lake Las Vegas.
