SEATTLE SETS SIGHTS ON CANADA, NAMES NEW REP

Seattle’s Chihuly Gardens and Glass

Visit Seattle has engaged destination representatives Canuckiwi Consulting, to manage its consumer and trade marketing, and travel trade relations in Canada this Fall.

“As a border city, Canada is Seattle’s top international market and Canadian travel advisors, tour operators and OTAs are key partners to driving our visitation,” says Caitlyn Shearer, Tourism Manager, Visit Seattle. “We are excited to continue to welcome Canadians back to Seattle.”

Access to Seattle is now more convenient than ever for Canadians with the launch of Air Canada’s daily, non-stop service from Montreal, as well as the return of non-stop flights operated by multiple airlines from Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, and Kelowna.

With a mild, West coast climate influenced by its location situated beside the Pacific Ocean, Cascade mountain range and proximity to three US National Parks (Mt Rainier, North Cascades, Olympic), Seattle is a popular choice for Fall and Winter getaways and known for its Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens and Glass and Pike Place Market, amongst other attractions.

The city also attracts Canadians for Seattle Seahawks football games and the hockey Kraken, which plays at Climate Pledge Arena.
