VoX International has announced its status as an officially Rainbow Registered organization. The destination marketing and PR firm says it is committed to inclusivity in all aspects of the travel industry and pledges to further adopt inclusive business practices moving forward. VoX recognizes the value of the LGBTQ+ traveller and believes there is a strong obligation to promote and encourage inclusivity.

As a member of a variety of industry associations that includes the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association, VoX has a wide audience and the ability to share its commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Rainbow Registered is a national accreditation for LGBTQ+ friendly businesses across Canada. All Rainbow Registered businesses must meet a stringent set of standards to ensure LGBTQ+ customers feel safe, welcomed, and accepted.

The accreditation program grants a time-limited recognition to businesses and organizations for demonstrating compliance with the quality standard. Accredited businesses are deemed market ready for the LGBTQ+ customer and given the right to be associated with the program’s prestigious Rainbow Registered designation mark. Rainbow Registered is also a part of the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce.

Over the years, VoX has supported and participated in a variety of Pride events and has managed booths on behalf of clients. VoX has also donated and participated in ‘Dare to Wear’ events that support the Stephen Lewis Foundation. This foundation champions the health and human rights with community-based partners to respond to AIDS in Africa.

VoX says it will work to uphold and maintain the mandate set out by Rainbow Registered by encouraging a discrimination free workplace, working with clients to promote LGBTQ+ festivals, experiences and activities, and by conducting LGBTQ+ training to all staff.
