Disney Cruises is counting on Magic in the months ahead and wishing upon a new star for 2022. In a week of announcements about future ships and the re-start of cruises, the line announced that Minnie Mouse will take command of its newest ship, Disney Wish. And Rapunzel will let her hair down on the stern.

In a sneak peek of the Disney Wish, due to start sailing in the summer of 2022, Disney imagineers revealed story-book elements of the ship, including a grand atrium inspired by Gothic and French castles. A spiral crystal chandelier in the three-deck high space will be crowned by a wishing star.
