CLUB MED OPENS BOUTIQUE AGENCY IN TORONTO

Following its success in Montreal two years ago, Club Med has opened its second Canadian travel agency – in downtown Toronto. The venue, the company says, represents its commitment to its growing the Canadian market, which includes the opening of its first resort in this country, Club Med Charlevoix, Quebec, in 2021.

The street front Toronto agency takes its design inspiration from both the Montreal outlet and Club Med resorts and aims to provide an elevated experience for customers, including being served by Club Med specialist agents and being able to have a virtual reality experience that introduces Club Med resorts in an unique way.

Given its central location at Located at 361 Queen Street W. (between University and Spadina) the new agency brings a flagship presence that will serve multiple functions, including increasing awareness of Club Med’s sun and ski products in the Ontario market and sharing the Club Med spirit within the Toronto community, says the company.

It adds that with the opening of brick-and-mortar agencies, Club Med aims to provide a premium and personalized experience for its clients, from their booking to their stay, and notably providing upscale services that are not possible in an online world.

“We are very proud to be opening the first Club Med Agency in Toronto,” said Vincent Giraud, Managing Director of Club Med Canada and North America Sales Operations. “Club Med remains deeply committed to servicing the Canadian market, including Ontario.”

In 204, Club Med will add new resorts to its portfolio, including Kiroro Grand in Japan, a new resort in Malaysia and, for the first time, a resort in South Africa, as well as various expansions in the Alps. These developments will be added to Club Med’s already 70 existing destinations worldwide.
