ALL FOR ONE: TTC unifies brand loyalty programs

Six major tour brands under The Travel Corporation umbrella – Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Costsaver, Brendan Vacations, and Contiki – have now aligned under one rewards program: Global Tour Rewards.

The unification merges all current TTC Tour Brands loyalty programs into one place, with the benefit of providing travel sellers “a highly marketable angle to re-engage past guests, cross-sell brands within the portfolio and encourage clients to travel again.”

According to TTC, it also provides a more tangible benefit offer to sell to new prospects: that benefits extend across over 1,000 tours built for every taste, place and pace, ranging from luxury to budget travel and everything in between.

Those benefits include members-only pricing with a 5% discount on guided tours, exclusive first-release access to new trips and offers, access to members-only events, and special recognition from Travel Directors on their next trip.

“When we created TTC Tour Brands, our mission was to provide a comprehensive range of touring options for every type of traveller, whatever their budget, style of travel or personal preference, says Melissa DaSilva, President of TTC Tour Brands North America. “This new single loyalty benefits program is another great step towards achieving that mission.”

TTC notes that it is easier and more cost-effective to sell to previous customers than new prospects, pointing out that its flagship Trafalgar brand has a repeat rate of over 50%.

With this in mind, TTC says it believes its new untied loyalty program will help agents “retain, re-engage and market to this integral segment far better than ever before.”
