Virgin Voyages’ third ship will be named Resilient Lady and is scheduled to join the fleet on 1 July, 2022. It will join the first Virgin vessel Scarlet Lady scheduled to debut in July this year – a year later than scheduled. The second ship Valiant Lady is now scheduled to debut in November 2021.
Resilient Lady will sail from Athens on week-long itineraries, including calls in the Adriatic, and to Santorini, Rhodes, Crete, and Mykonos.
“Sailing in the Med is such an extraordinary experience, and we’re so excited to bring the adventure of a Virgin Voyage,” said Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Group founder.
“I’m so proud of the incredible work the team has accomplished to introduce Resilient Lady.”
Tom McAlpin, CEO and President of Virgin Voyages said, “We know the time to travel is on the horizon, and Virgin Voyages is here so that we can keep dreaming of vacations ahead.”
Virgin Voyages, which is adults only, expects to have a four-ship fleet by 2023.
