Covid restrictions have been eased to permit travel between England, Scotland and Wales and hotel and accommodation providers can now accept overnight guests.
England
In England, most nonessential shops and businesses are permitted to operate provided they adhere to strict hygiene and social distancing requirements. Catering establishments are permitted to open for outdoor service only.
Outdoor gatherings are allowed for up to six people from any number of households, or any number of people from two different households.
All persons are encouraged to work from home.
Scotland
Travel is permitted anywhere within Scotland, though overnight stays are prohibited; nonessential travel between Scotland and England can resume from April 26.
Up to six people from six different households can meet socially outdoors. Nonessential shops and businesses are open.
Pubs can offer outdoor service only; restaurants can offer inside service with no alcohol.

Wales
In Wales up to six people from different households, excluding children, are now permitted to meet socially outdoors.
Most nonessential shops and businesses are permitted to operate provided they adhere to strict hygiene and social distancing requirements. Pubs and restaurants can offer outdoor service only.
