U.S. TRAVEL INDUSTRY FORMS GREAT AMERICAN ECONOMIC REVIVAL GROUP

President of the US Travel Association Roger Dow, spoke directly with Donald Trump to discuss reviving the tourism industry following the pandemic. The States’ travel and hospitality sector will form part of a Great American Economic Revival Industry Group to forge a path to recovery. Membership of the group consists mainly of hotel chain and cruise line CEOs.

During a conference call with the White House, the US Travel Association said it was clear Trump “recognises the critical role of the travel and hospitality sector in the recovery of our economy and workforce.”

“As one of the first and hardest-hit industries by the pandemic’s effects, this appointment will only strengthen engagement with our partners in the government as we work together to rebuild America.”
