TORONTO UP EXPRESS FATALITY

 

A women has died after being struck by a train on the rail link to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.Toronto police are investigating the incident, which took place early Monday morning near the UP Express’ Weston station. Police say they are treating the woman’s death as suspicious.

Emergency crews were called to Weston Road and Black Creek Drive shortly before 6 a.m.

They found the woman with “very serious” injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further news had been released at the time of publication.

Metrolinx, which operates the airport rail link, says train service was been temporarily suspended and shuttle busses were operating.
