Three cruise lines have cancelled their 2022 world cruises due to the ongoing global pandemic, and long winter voyages around South America and Antarctica are also off their itineraries.
Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Seabourn Cruises–all part of the Carnival Corp. family–have apparently decided global logistics will continue to be uncertain due to COVID-19 in the months ahead, but they’re staying optimistic and focusing on high demand in the future.
Holland America Line said guests who were booked on the 2022 Grand World Voyage aboard Zaandam will be automatically moved to the 2023 version aboard the larger Zuiderdam. Guests who were booked on the 2022 Grand South America and Antarctica Voyage will be automatically moved to the identical 2023 departure aboard Volendam.
