30 JUN 2017: The Canaveral Port Authority is the third busiest cruise port in Florida and this week approved more than $1.2 million to improve Cruise Terminal 3, with funds going to the design of a new berth, permit support, dredging, bidding support and construction support.

Disney Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Line all having cruise ships that sail out of the port.

Joy christened

Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Cruise Line’s first custom-designed ship for the Chinese cruise market, was christened this week in a ceremony onboard the vessel in Shanghai that featured a performance by the ship’s Godfather, singer songwriter, music producer, actor and film director, Wang Leehom.

At 167,725–gross-tons and accommodating 3,883 guests, Norwegian Joy has been built for the Chinese market.
