RETAIL ROUND-UP: Virtuoso-St. Kitts, TDC, ACTA

Transat Distribution Canada has revealed its latest roster of Bravo Excellence Club members; ACTA is seeking individuals for two of its key committees; and the St. Kitts Travel Authority is the newest preferred partner for Virtuoso.

TDC has named its newest Bravo Excellence Club members – 25 top-performing agencies for the past fiscal year. Encompassing both franchised and affiliated agencies, this years award winners include Marlin Travel, TravelPlus, Affiliated, Club Voyages and Voyages en Liberté agencies based on either highest passenger volumes or the greatest growth. The agency’s owners (and companions) are invited to take part in a reward trip to Peru in May.

ACTA

ACTA is seeking individuals who wish to join two influential committees in 2025: the Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) Committee and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee.

Independent Travel Advisor Committee This committee focuses on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities facing independent advisors. Members collaborate on initiatives ranging from advocacy to professional development programs, ensuring the independent advisor’s voice shapes industry policies and practices.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee This committee works to create a more inclusive travel industry by developing strategies to attract diverse talent, enhance cultural competency in travel services, and ensure our industry serves all Canadians effectively. This committee collaborates closely with all ACTA initiatives to embed DEI principles throughout our organization.

St. Kitts Tourism Authority

St. Kitts Tourism Authority has been accepted into Virtuoso’s exclusive portfolio of luxury travel partners, comprising 2,300 preferred suppliers in 100 countries.

According to Kelly Fontenelle, CEO of the Authority, inclusion in Virtuoso will present new sales and marketing opportunities to the network’s luxury travel advisors and their highly desirable clientele.
