Goway has named industry veteran Rares Dumitru as National Account Manager for Canada. With expertise in both retail and wholesale, Dumitru is tasked with strengthening the Toronto-based tour operator’s relationship with travel professionals across Canada and managing key accounts.

Dumitru has worked in travel for over 20 years with organizations such as Trafalgar, Kensington Tours, Rail Europe, and most recently, LaCure Villas.

“I’m delighted to welcome Rares to the team in this newly-created role,” says Goway general manager Renee Stanton-Defaria. “Over the past 18 months, Goway has worked hard to strengthen itself for the next 50 years. This has included investing in technological advancements, but also investing in new staff members with unique skill sets such as Rares.
