29 MAR 2017:   Longtime travel industry executive Patrick Doherty died this week in Florida.  He had apparently been in poor health for some time and was hospitalized last week.  Doherty suffered a heart attack last Friday  and succumbed to it on Monday.
He was a well known figure in the industry, where he was an owner of Alltours, and then publisher of the Travel Courier at Baxter Media until his retirement.

Pat spent his retirement years in The Villages in Florida but continued to keep in touch with friends and colleagues in the industry, who remember fondly his cheerful smile and lively disposition – always ready with a joke or a song.

A service will be held in Florida on 11.00 am Thursday March 30 at North lake Presbyterian church 975 Rolling Acres Road Lady Lake Florida at 11:00 tomorrow.

A service will also be held later in Toronto. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
