Citing growing demand for The Bahamas from the Canadian market, the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board (NPIPB) has reinstated its partnership with Newmarket, Ont.-based Canlink Travel Representatives to expand its marketing and sales efforts in Canada.
NPIPB is responsible for promoting the hotels, resorts, restaurants, and experiences of Nassau Paradise Island in The Bahamas and will work with Canlink to increase recognition of Nassau Paradise Island as a first-rate option for a variety of travellers, says the Board.
“We are thrilled to be working with Canlink to increase recognition of Nassau Paradise Island and our partner properties in Canada,” said NPIPB CEO Joy Jibrilu. “Since joining the promotion board at the beginning of 2023, it has been a priority of mine to increase our efforts in the Canadian market. Canlink was such a valuable partner to the board prior to the pandemic, so we are delighted to be able to work with them again and look forward to renewing our partnership with their outstanding team of experts.”
Founded in 1994 by travel industry veteran Elaine Carnegie, Canlink’s relationships within retail and group travel agencies will create a bridge between the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board and Canadians, providing greater recognition of the destination as a preferred vacation spot, says the NPIPB.
“We are delighted to revamp our partnership with the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, as they begin to expand their efforts in Canada,” said Carnegie. “The promotion board has been one of our valued partners over the years and we are excited to be able to be working with them again, tapping into our network of travel agencies, incentive houses, meeting planners and tour operators to drive visits to the beautiful island destination.”
