Jordan will welcome tourism professionals from around the globe to the next G Adventures GX Summit in 2025. The middle eastern destination was unveiled at this year’s event in India. Taking place Sept. 23-Oct. 1 and notably coinciding with World Tourism Day on Sept. 27, the event will bring together agents, suppliers, media and travellers from around the globe to experience firsthand the impact that community tourism can have.

Over the multi-day event, attendees will experience community initiatives, hear from insightful speakers, and experience live entertainment and authentic Jordanian cuisine. Attendees will see how community tourism benefits destinations, local people and the overall traveler experience.

“This year’s event in India was exceptional. I’m thrilled that we get to welcome everyone to Jordan next year,” said Malia Asfour, Managing Director of the Jordan Tourism Board North America (JTBNA). “This event not only offers a chance to bring the industry together, but also showcases Jordan’s beauty and rich heritage. It’s been a challenging year, to say the least, but we know travelers are eager to visit Jordan and for some, to return.”

In partnership with the Jordan Tourism Board North America (JTBNA), Royal Jordanian Airlines is set to sponsor next year’s GX event, offering service from all international gateways for attendees.

Jordan is a long-term partner of G Adventures and a supporter of Planeterra, continuing to engage in community-based tourism since the Meaningful Travel Map was launched in 2018.

Being the destination host provides the opportunity to showcase the success stories of several Jordanian communities, bringing global awareness to the country’s rich cultural heritage and sustainable tourism initiatives, which are essential for driving tourism recovery efforts.
