Haven Resorts and Spas has announced that VoX International has been named to provide brand sales and marketing throughout North America. Through VoX, Jan LaPointe has been appointed as director sales and marketing for North America.
With more than 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, LaPointe is a knowledgeable and trusted leader with a proven track record of developing and growing new brands, driving innovative marketing strategies, developing loyalty programs and identifying new sales channels for hotels.
In this role, she will be responsible for leading Haven’s Sales & Marketing Initiatives in the United States and Canada. She will lead projects alongside Florian Connert, Haven’s senior director of sales & marketing.
Prior to joining Haven Resorts & Spas, LaPointe served as a core part of the AMResorts leadership team for more than 16 years. During her tenure, she was the senior director of marketing for AMResorts worldwide and played an integral part in launching six brands.
Following successful launches, as VP of NA Sales Strategies, LaPointe lead the North American sales teams, consortia relationships and the travel agent loyalty program. She looks forward to developing exciting new programs for both consumers and travel agents for Haven Resorts & Spas, as well as working closely with distribution partners in North America to help achieve their mutual goals.

The first property within the Haven Resorts & Spas portfolio debuted in Cancun, Mexico on October 2018. The exclusive, luxury all-suite, all-inclusive adults-only resort is part of Preferred Hotels & Resort’s L.V.X collection and is currently developing a state-of-the-art Convention Center set to debut Fall 2020, as well as an additional 104-guest suites.
