Registration is now open for the ACTA’s upcoming two-day Virtual Travel Industry Summit, to be held Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. Travel agents, independent travel agents, travel agency managers, owners and leaders, consortia partners, and host agencies are invited to attend to help “re-connect, reset and rebuild the travel industry on the road to recovery.”
ACTA president Wendy Paradis adds that the event is designed to “connect the Canadian travel industry and explore a whole new world of travel.”
The two-day summit will include keynote speakers, updates from government and industry leaders, as well as opportunities to connect with peers. There will also be a virtual trade show with exhibitors, prizes and more.

ACTA Awards
ACTA notes that nominations are also open for its annual association awards, with the winners to be recognized at the summit.
Deadline for entry is Aug. 27 for the Gerald Heifetz Trailblazer Advocacy Award recognizing industry advocacy, and the Maguire-Wamsley CTM Award for highest grade on the CTM exam. Info and nominations HERE.
