Eamonn Ferrin, a well-known figure in the Canadian travel trade, has been named Vice President of International Business for Norwegian Cruise Line, based in the UK. During his 23-year travel industry career, Ferrin had served in Canada as president and CEO of Air Canada Vacations from 2013 to ‘16 and, before that, as president and COO of Sunquest Vacations.
Ferrin joined Norwegian in 2019 and had been VP and Managing Director of Norwegian Cruise Line for UK, Ireland, Israel, South Africa, and the Middle East, responsible for sales, marketing, PR and office operations for the company’s largest international region and fastest emerging markets.
Among his key efforts were the launch of the NCL Freestyle Rewards incentive program, a new travel agent portal and resource centre Norwegian Central and the fly-cruise booking platform NCL Air.
In his new role, he will be overseeing the company’s international sales teams across the company’s 11 offices outside of North America.
