With the hope that the pandemic will be in the past, the African Travel and Tourism Association (ATTA) has announced that the annual B2B travel show Experience Africa will return to London in 2021 with a live event in June.
Set to take place June 21-23, the three-day event for buyers and suppliers of African tourism will be held at Stamford Bridge in Fulham, home to Chelsea Football Club.
Attendees will take part in one-to-one meetings and networking, while the seminar schedule will provide educational content focussed on driving Africa’s tourism revival post COVID-19.
A virtual platform will be available to suppliers and buyers who are unable to attend in person.
ATTA’s strategy in introducing an iconic new venue while partnering with a strong media operation is to enhance the profile of Experience Africa by attracting new international buyers and to grow and develop the event to allow further expansion to satellite events around Europe.
“Experience Africa is a key brand and B2B feature in ATTA’s portfolio,” says ATTA chairman Fiona Jeffery. “The intention is to build and develop the event to add value to businesses engaging with Africa tourism and support the rebuilding of the sector…”
