President Susan Webb has announced some key changes at VoX International as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Gerlinde Perera, VP Client Services who has been with VoX for 20 years, is retiring. Though her last official day is July 08, she has agreed to work with VoX on some projects including assisting with key client events.
Webb says, “Gerlinde has been my right hand person for more than 26 years and a dear friend. I am personally going to miss her but wish her happiness in this well-deserved new stage of her life. I know travel is in her future and more time spent with her family. Gerlinde has been the “rock” of VoX and has been such a significant reason for our success as a company.”
Webb also announced that Erin Oddleifson has been promoted to the position of Director Marketing and Client Services effective immediately. She will taking over many of Perera’s responsibilities including overseeing administration, accounting and events planning team.
“Erin has amazing Marketing expertise so she will be working with our Account and Public Relations Managers developing effective marketing campaigns for our clients.” Said Webb, “Erin has more than 30 years’ experience in the tourism industry including 20 years with Transat Canada and previously Canada 3000 Holidays. She is a fantastic addition to the VoX team.”
Oddliefson and Perera have been working closely the past few months to assure a seamless transition.
Lana Lubon has also been promoted to the position of Events Manager for VoX. Lubon is in charge of planning all VoX client events so will be the contact for venues and suppliers.
