Carnival Corp. has yet again been hacked as a data breach in March may have exposed personal customer data. Personal information of customers and employees of Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line and Princess Cruises could have been affected.

The company notified customers, saying Social Security numbers, passport numbers, dates of birth, addresses and health information may have been exposed.

The number of people whose information might have been impacted has not disclosed up a call center has been set up to provide information to concerned customers.

Carnival suffered two other data breaches last year in August and December, which were thought to be ransomware attacks.

This breach was detected on 19 March and an external cybersecurity firm was brought in to investigate.

Carnival is making changes to strengthen data security.
