The Canadian Government has issued travel advisories for the Middle East. The most obvious – avoid all travel to Iraq and Syria. Canadians are also advised to avoid all travel to avoid all travel to the Gaza Strip, the Israeli border with Syria, and the borders between Israel and Egypt, and Israel and Lebanon.
Exercise a high degree of caution (with regional advisories) to Iran, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
A high degree of caution is also urged for travel to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jericho and Ramallah.
Canadians are also warned to avoid non-essential travel to West Bank, and the border with Gaza Strip,

The US government also issued an advisory urging Americans to skip travel or exercise caution in Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
It mentioned no specific threat, only the heightened US-Iran tensions in the region.
The Federal Aviation Administration also banned US jetliners from overflying Iran airspace, with other aviation regulators around the world doing the same.
