Can you say pent-up demand? Regent Seven Seas Cruises reports that it achieved the largest booking day in its 28-year history with the launch of its 2022-23 Voyage Collection on Oct. 21.
The booking bonanza surpassed by nearly 40% the luxury cruise line’s previous reservations record set in April 2018 with the launch of Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural season.
While all destinations experienced high-levels of interest, cruises in Africa, Asia, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe – the Baltics in particular – were notably popular.
The 2022-23 Voyage Collection launch also saw an over 100 percent increase in bookings from when the line’s 2021-22 Voyage Collection went on sale in August 2019.
With bookings opened at 8:30 a.m. EST, the line had surpassed the total number of bookings for the previous year’s launch in just 90 minutes.
The record bookings day follows hot on the heels of Regent’s recent record-breaking launch day for its 2023 World Cruise where reservations doubled that of the 2022 World Cruise launch.
