Nassau, Bahama’s Baha Mar mega resort will get a little more mega come July 2 with the long-awaited opening of its new waterpark, Baha Bay. Set on 6.1 hectares facing the waterfront, the attraction will be exclusively available to guests at Baha Mar’s Grand Hyatt, SLS, and Rosewood hotels.
The US$200-million luxury water park will feature over 30 attractions, including:
• 24 water slides
• dueling water coaster
• group raft rides
• 1.83-million litre wave pool
• 425-m. action river winding through tropical landscape
• a first of its kind Surf Simulator
• 2,400 sq. m. beachfront lounge area, and more.
Baha Bay will also include a kids island and splash zones for kids of all ages, as well as well-appointed luxurious cabanas designed for privacy, entertaining, and relaxation.
At the same time Baha Mar will re-open the all-age Baha Bay Beach Club, featuring infinity pools overlooking the ocean, 15 full-service private cabanas, daybeds, multiple al fresco dining options and culinary concepts, and the only outdoor casino gaming pavilion inside a waterpark.
Access for guests will be unlimited.
