Canada Jetlines announced the appointment of Adam Wilcox as Director Business Development & Network Planning. The former Porter Airlines veteran will lead business development and expansion for the new all-Canadian leisure carrier
With operations commencing in early 2022, Jetlines aims to provide convenient air travel options for the lowest possible price, offering more travel choices to sun-destinations and more revenue options for agents and tour operators.
Wilcox, a respected industry executive, was handpicked to join the growing management team to spearhead Jetlines’ overall business development and strategic partnerships.
In this new role, Wilcox will shift the airline into new streams of revenue, connecting the carrier to key stakeholders and destinations. He will work closely with corporate and government entities, travel agencies, and tourism marketing companies to scale the carrier’s route offerings and implement Jetlines’ goal of providing exciting and affordable options to leisure travelers.

A graduate of King’s University College (University of Western Ontario), Wilcox began his aviation career in Africa, focusing on regional airline and route development. Wilcox assisted several fortune 500 companies in building out their aviation finance business in Canada.
He was a founding management team member at Porter, where he played a key role in the significant start-up phase, business development / stakeholder strategy and airport operations. Most recently he has been involved in the business aviation sector selling corporate aircraft and arranging corporate charters.
