02 NOV 2017: Philip Rose, the Jamaica Tourist Board’s regional director in Canada, has announced the appointment of Emma Madsen as business development manager in Western Canada. Effective immediately Madsen will be responsible for developing the JTB’s sales initiatives in Western Canada.

An industry veteran and expert on Jamaica, Madsen previously held the same role with the Jamaica Tourist Board from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that she was a BDM for Sunwing Vacations and Sunquest/Holiday House. She began her career in the travel industry in 2000 as a reservations agent at Fun Sun Vacations.

Madsen will be based in Calgary, Alberta, with responsibility for sales in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

“We are happy to have Ms. Madsen re-join our team,” said Philip Rose. “She has an impeccable track record for selling Jamaica and excellent relationships in Western Canada.”
