Entry and arrival in St. Maarten is now easier for visitors with the launch of a new a new Digital Embarkation/ Disembarkation (ED) Form and the opening this week of a new arrivals hall at Princess Juliana International Airport.

Introduced by the St. Maarten Tourism Bureau, the new Digital Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) Form is accessible on the website www.entry.sx. Designed to improve border security and enhancing the overall visitor experience, the ED form must be completed online before checking in for a flight.

“We do ask every visitor to fill out the entry form before check-in for their flight in order to expedite their arrival and for the system to reach 100% success rate as quickly as possible” says director of tourism May- Ling Chun.

  • Filling Out the Form: Travellers are encouraged to fill out the form up to 7 days before travel, but it must be completed at least before check-in. The form is accessible online and should be completed individually for each traveller, including children. It can be updated if travel plans change. Once filled out confirmation is sent via email (be sure to check junk mail).
  • Group and Family Submissions: While one person can fill out the form for the entire family or group, each traveler must have an individual form or be listed under group registration. Proof of the completed form will be required at immigration.
  • Access and Updates: Travellers can update their form if there are any changes to their flight schedule or accommodation. If the form is denied, it can be re-submitted for review.
  • Important Requirement: Travellers need to show proof that the form has been completed. Airlines will require this proof at check-in.

In addition to the new form, the long-awaited new arrivals hall at Princess Juliana International Airport opened on Oct. 15, marking the end of a temporary arrival facility tent, which served passengers during the airport’s reconstruction period. The new arrivals hall will feature:

  • Enhanced passenger facilities, providing a more comfortable and seamless arrival experience
