Citing strong demand, Porter Airlines says it is doubling capacity on its routes from Toronto Pearson to Las Vegas and Los Angeles, starting Aug. 29 and Sept. 5 respectively. Both cities will be served by twice daily flights on new 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

• The Vegas flights will depart Toronto at 1:30 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. (new), returning at 3:22 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. (All time local).
• The new LAX flight at 12:45 p.m. joins the existing 9:40 a.m. flight, with returns at 1:30 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.

Porter notes that additional connections in the Western US are available on the routes through Alaska Airlines via both cities.
