13 JUN 2017: The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) is has announced that Tracy MacCharles, Minister of Government and Consumer Services will be attending TICO’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, June 20, to address stakeholders.

The AGM will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre located at 4141 Living Arts Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.

“With the Ontario Government’s comprehensive review of the Travel Industry Act and Regulation underway, these are both exciting and challenging times for the travel industry and TICO,” said Richard Smart, CEO and registrar.

“We are very honored to welcome Minister MacCharles to TICO’s AGM and look forward to her providing her remarks on Ontario’s consumer protection initiatives and future government priorities.
