Royal Irish Tours announced the promotion of Orla Killeen from their reservations department to the position of sales executive. Killeen studied Geography and Media at the University of Limerick before emigrating to Canada in 2018. She worked in interior design for a year before moving over to RIT. Growing up in the rural West of Ireland, tourism has always been a part of her life.

Killeen has worked in many tourist attractions and hotels in her home county of Clare, including three years at the iconic Cliffs of Moher.

Killeen is very knowledgeable about Ireland & the UK, and Conor Duffy, vice president of RIT, said, “We are delighted to have Orla join Jonathan (Sargent, sales manager) on the road. She has been a valuable member of our team since joining last year, and is enthusiastic, outgoing and very knowledgeable about our product. Between Orla and Jonathan, we know that the travel professionals across Canada will be in good hands.”
