TRANSAT UNVEILS WINTER 2024-25 SCHEDULE

Air Transat has released its flight schedule 2024-25 winter season featuring, at peak, 300 non-stop flights per week from seven Canadian cities. In addition to Toronto, Ottawa, and London, it will also offer flights from Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, and Moncton, to more than two dozen destinations covering the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, and Europe.

“For the 2024-2025 winter season, we are favouring growth focused on our flagship destinations,” said Sebastian Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer of Transat. “Leveraging our partnership with Porter Airlines and our annual routes to Europe, we are able to take advantage of their expansion into the domestic market to reach a wider audience.”

Ontario

Air Transat will offer a wide range of direct flights to sun destinations from Ontario. From Toronto, the airline is increasing flight frequencies to key markets such as Cancun and Punta Cana, while adding capacity on high-potential routes such as San Jose. The airline also maintains its routes to other popular destinations in the Caribbean, including Montego Bay and Cayo Coco, Cuba. And it will also once again offer flights to its most popular sun destinations from Ottawa and London.

Departing from Toronto, Air Transat maintains its commitment to Europe by offering non-stop flights to six key destinations. The route to London Gatwick will benefit from an additional frequency, offering a daily service and strengthening the connection with the United Kingdom. Other European routes include flights to cities such as Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Glasgow and Manchester.

Quebec

From Montreal, the airline is increasing flight frequencies to key markets such as Cancun and Punta Cana, while adding capacity on high-potential routes such as Fort-de-France, Saint-Martin, and Lima.

It will also serve a total of seven transatlantic destinations non-stop. From Montreal, routes to Lisbon and Malaga will see an increase in frequencies. In addition, routes from Montreal to Marseille and Lyon will benefit from improved capacity, thanks to the use of larger aircraft, thus making it possible to meet the growing demand for these French destinations. The annualization of the Montreal-Marrakech service will also allow for continuous exploration of Morocco throughout the year.

From Quebec City, Air Transat is increasing its flight frequencies to Holguin and offering a total of nine sun destinations. And an additional frequency will be added to Paris, offering three direct flights per week and strengthening access to the French capital.

Maritimes

Meanwhile, from the Maritimes, Air Transat will continue to offer direct flights to selected sun destinations from Halifax and Moncton. From Halifax, the airline is adding an additional frequency to Puerto Plata, strengthening its offer in the Caribbean. Other destinations, such as Cancún, Cayo Coco, Holguín, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, Santa Clara, and Varadero, remain accessible.

From Moncton, Air Transat flies to popular destinations including Cancun, Punta Cana, and Varadero.

The airline is also optimizing its routes to Florida, with an additional frequency from Halifax to Fort Lauderdale, while flights to Orlando from Halifax and Moncton remain.
