Doing well in Las Vegas will take on a whole new meaning as a new resort literally taking shape will appeal to guests seeking a healthy lifestyle, not success at the tables, when it opens. Dubbed “revolutionary” and a “game changer” for the gambling capital, Majestic Las Vegas will be a first-of-its kind non-gaming, non-smoking, ultra-luxury resort in the city.
To be located on a 2.4-hectare parcel of land directly across from the Las Vegas Convention Center, two blocks from the Strip, the US$850-million, 190-m. tall contemporary architectural masterpiece will feature a distinct curvilinear shape inspired by the historic La Concha Motel, which was opened by M.K. Doumani, grandfather of developer Lorenzo Doumani.
The resort, which will break ground this summer, will also feature a branded 720-suite five-star hotel with corporate Sky Suites, six restaurants and, most importantly an all encompassing 6,500-sq.-m. ultra luxury medical wellness spa and fitness facility designed for “busy business executives,” and featuring ultra state-of-the-art amenities such as whole-body scans, thermography technology, and some of the most advanced diagnostic and screening exams available. Members can benefit from specialized analysis and risk assessment, paired with comprehensive nutrition, fitness, and treatment plans.
In addition, guests can relax and be pampered with top-rate beauty and spa treatments and will have access to the resort’s comprehensive fitness centre, including a world-class gym, yoga and meditation facilities, and spin studio.
Designed by Steelman Partners, best known for designing high-end casino resorts such as Circa and Resorts World Las Vegas, the concept for Spa Majestic was inspired by shapes and textures found in nature and will boast natural wood, an impressive indoor waterfall, and floor-to-ceiling greenery.
The resort is expected to open in 2024.
