Tourism Australia is inviting Canadian travel advisors to attend its inaugural Australia Global Summit. The tourist board says more than 2,000 travel professionals globally have already registered for Nov. 16 event, which is designed to deliver a three-hour virtual program packed with inspiring keynote speakers, energizing storytelling chapters, targeted and informative education sessions, and on-demand content. Attendance is free.
Throughout the program, Tourism Australia and industry experts are set to provide the latest insights and trends, what has changed in Australian tourism, and Aussie Specialist Program updates to equip attendees with the best tools to sell Australia as international travel resumes.
Keynote speakers, dynamic Future Crunch duo Dr. Angus Hervey and Tané Hunter, whose mission is to foster intelligent, optimistic thinking about the future and to empower people to contribute to it, will set the tone for the event, which will also include a lineup of Australian personalities including television presenter Brooke Boney, Eurovision star Kate Miller-Heidke and short film writer Keir Nuttall, Nick and Terysa of the YouTube channel Sailing Ruby Rose.
Some of Australia’s well-known foodies, journalists, photographers, and luxury experts will also share their Australia through the genres of Aboriginal Experiences, Arts and Entertainment, Coastal Experiences, Food and Drink, Landscapes and Australian Luxury.
Tourism Australia executive GM Robin Mack, says, “The Australia Global Summit aims to keep travel professionals inspired about the depth of Australia’s tourism offering – from our Indigenous culture, arts and entertainment to the diversity of landscapes and coastal experiences – everything travellers are looking for in a post-COVID world.”
