In 2024, about a hundred Canadian travel advisors discovered two of the islands – Sao Miguel and Terceira – for themselves at ACTA’s annual international conference there in 2024.
Fast forward two years and the islands will be more accessible than ever with Air Canada set to kick off its new route to the Portuguese paradise for the summer on June 11, joining Azores Airlines and WestJet. Have a look (and try not to gasp, as the Internet often says):
