WHAT TO DO WHEN WINGING IT THROUGH BUFFALO

Canadians are not only polite, but also a punctual bunch, observe execs at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.  With this in mind, the facility – a popular gateway for southern Ontarians heading to New York, Florida, and other points in the US – is eager to point out to travellers from north of the border that it has plenty of options and activities for those who arrive early at BUF before winging off to somewhere else.

Here are some highlights:

  • Art Gallery:The Buffalo AKG Art Gallery at BUF Airport is a unique preview of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum located in the City of Buffalo. Dedicated to the art of our time, Buffalo AKG is the sixth-oldest public art institution in the United States.
  • Unique Gift Shops:Frivolous is one of BUF’s fun gift shops, featuring unique gifts for anyone in your life while entering the world of the wonderfully unnecessary. Travellers find more than just the usual airport souvenirs. It’s a treasure trove of unique items reflecting Buffalo’s culture, from handcrafted goods to unique souvenirs.
  • Food with Local Flair:BUF’s food venues present a wide array of dining options. Known as the birthplace of the Buffalo Wing, the airport has its own satellite location of the world-famous Buffalo Anchor Bar.
  • The Club Buffalo Lounge: The lounge offers ample social space for conversation or a tranquil moment with a drink, along with first-class service catering to passengers of all airlines. Established in 2019, the lounge provides exclusive access via the Priority Pass for premium credit card holders, particularly business travellers, with the opportunity to enjoy the lounge’s amenities and comforts.
  • Fisher-Price PlayGates: Throughout the terminal, visitors can find three Fisher-Price PlayGates placed for the convenience of travellers.
