WestJet is renewing and expanding its distribution agreement with Amadeus, continuing to make all its fare options – along with merchandising capabilities – easy to book for travel advisors. Moreover, the carrier says all of its future NDC-based offerings will be available on the Amadeus Travel Platform.
Twenty-seven other airlines already sell NDC-sourced content through the Amadeus Travel API.
WestJet says its NDC content will be fully integrated into travel sellers’ booking environments, whether using Amadeus Selling Platform Connect or an application powered by an Amadeus Travel API, including the Amadeus Cytric self-booking tool for its corporate clients,
As such, all of WestJet’s NDC fare options and merchandizing will continue to be easy to shop, compare, book and manage, while the expanded agreement ensures the airline’s “commitment to full content (and) providing its full spectrum of fares and unique merchandising offers to Amadeus subscribers so they can take full advantage and offer travellers the best options to meet their individual preferences.”
“This renewed and expanded partnership with Amadeus is part of our greater strategy make our guests the centre of everything that we do, no matter how they book. Whether they want full flexibility, the lowest price, an enhanced and premium experience, or something in between, we want to give travel sellers the ability to provide them that experience with WestJet,” says Jorge Rozo, VP Pricing, Revenue and Distribution at WestJet.
