Effective today (April 23), Ritushri Dhankher officially begins her role as National Travel Trade & Aviation Manager – Canada for VisitBritain, based in Toronto. She replaces the retiring Lynda Falcone. Well known for her tenure as a member of the VisitBritain team in Canada, Dhankher’s promotion adds the aviation portfolio to the title.

VisitBritain Director Canada Cathy Stapells says Dhankher’s role will be to continue support the Canadian travel trade, as well as aviation partners, across the country to “increase awareness, availability, and sales of regional British travel products.”

She adds, “We work with stakeholders and partners to initiate joint activities to increase visitor arrivals and spend. Also key to the role is UK industry engagement offering advice, insights and sharing potential opportunities like regional workshops, B2B missions and events.”
