Canadian travel industry veteran Vicki Ioannou-Theophilou has joined JacTravel to boost the British-based destination management company’s presence in North America in the role of regional sales manager.

Having recently worked at Blue-Roads Touring/Topdeck as Director of Business Development, The Americas, and having had roles in sales management with tour operators, retailers and wholesale companies, Ioannou-Theophilou brings a wealth of travel industry experience to JacTravel.

Set to work closely with North American partners, but focussing on Canada thanks to her roots in the Canadian marketplace, Ioannou-Theophilou has been brought into JacTravel to support ambitious growth plans on the continent, says the company.

“I am thrilled and delighted to join JacTravel at a crucial stage in their development, emerging stronger post COVID with a clear objective to grow in North America,” says Ioannou-Theophilou. “JacTravel offers group and FIT solutions to the travel trade to all key destinations within UK, Ireland as well as Europe, and is well placed to be able to support many different types of travel business and models. Established in 1975, JacTravel has been a specialist brand of WebBeds since 2018, providing group and FIT travel products and services to the international travel trade including accommodation, transportation, attractions, catering, and guided touring. As long-term specialists in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, in recent years JacTravel has expanded its offer to include key destinations in mainland Western Europe with offices based in Edinburgh, London, Dublin, Palma Mallorca and Cluj (Romania).
