With an increasing number of Canadians considering holidaying at home this summer due to a depleted dollar and negative sentiment towards the US, Adventure Canada says it is giving Canadian residents the option to receive expedition pricing in Canadian dollars, rather than the industry standard USD.
The Toronto-based operator notes that “as a globally operating company, our trip prices are displayed in US dollars for consistency across all markets,” but invites Canadians to reach out directly for Canadian rates.
At the same time, the company has announced a new campaign encouraging people to explore the lesser-known corners of Canada, while continuing to offer early booking bonuses of up to 25% off the berth cost of select 2026 expeditions and up to 25% off select Arctic expeditions for 2025.
“For 35 years one thing has remained the same here at Adventure Canada: our unwavering belief that Canada, its wild lands, its distinct cultures, and kind-hearted, welcoming people offer a completely unique and world-class experience for visitors – both international and domestic,” says Cedar Swan, CEO of Adventure Canada.
“We encourage everyone to come along to enjoy and appreciate the beauty and quintessential Canadian culture of these places, especially fellow Canadians who may not have had the chance to see the wonder in their own backyard.”
Featuring expedition team members “most of whom are proud Canadians themselves,” family-owned Adventure Canada offers itineraries in the Canadian Arctic, Pacific coast, and Atlantic Canada, including Newfoundland and Labrador, Haida Gwaii, and Nunavut. Other destinations include the fjords of Greenland, the isles of the north Atlantic, and beyond.
Setting sail aboard an ice-strengthened vessel with a team of expert scientists, historians, cultural stewards, artists, and musicians, Adventure Canada engages and entertains, providing an on-the-ground experience that places travellers up close with local communities and culture.
