TABLE SET FOR VANCOUVER DINE OUT FEST

Diners are invited to taste the world from the comfort of more than 350 restaurants across Vancouver at the 21st Annual Dine Out Vancouver Festival, taking place from Jan. 20 to Feb. 5.

Designed to encourage dining during a normally slow time of the year, the festival enables patrons to choose set menus offered at three price ranges: $20-$34, $35-$50, or $54-$64.

“Dine Out Vancouver,” says Destination Vancouver president Royce Chwin, brings together chefs, restaurants, wineries, craft breweries and suppliers for a month of experiences for culinary enthusiasts that highlight the best flavours of the city.”

Hotel offers

The festival will also feature special events and downtown Vancouver hotel offers, including a $75 gift card for a one- or two-night booking at participating properties.

Among the events, the Vancouver World Chef Exchange will take place at a selection of Vancouver’s newly awarded Michelin star restaurants, which will host culinary luminaries from different destinations. During each event, visiting and local chefs will team up to produce an unique multi-course meal, taking inspiration from their respective menus, their own influences, and seasonal Pacific Northwest ingredients.

At the same time, Street Food City will take place outside the Vancouver Art Gallery from Jan. 21 to 29 where the public can find eats from a collection of the city’s favourite food trucks.

Event tickets are on sale now and reservations will open Jan. 11. For details full details, visit www.dineoutvancouver.com
