In a bustling city where space is at a premium, Bangkok has unveiled a new rooftop park that serves as the city’s newest landmark. Part of the Central Pattana mixed-use development in the heart of the city, Central Park blends nature, culture, dining, and commerce into one integrated precinct.
Anchored by the 1.13-hectare Roof Park, Central Park is designed to redefine merges indoor and outdoor experiences with sustainable urban design in the Thai capital.
At its heart, the Roof Park – about the size of average city block – extends the lush greenery of Lumpini Park into the city skyline as an elevated urban oasis. It offers panoramic 180-degree views, a 750-metre walking trail, an open-air amphitheatre, family- and pet-friendly zones, and curated lifestyle programming.
Central Park has also swiftly emerged as a new culinary centre, including new concepts and global brands. Meanwhile, the Parkside Market – featuring Bangkok’s largest collection of Michelin Guide eateries and 70 street food legends – has become a hub of dining destinations for both locals and international visitors.
Part of the US$1.25 billion Dusit Central Park project, the precinct integrates residences and office space, the Central Park shopping centre, and Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel.
Approximately 25 million visitors are expected to visit the neighbourhood annually.
