SEVENTH HEAVEN: MSC Cruises reveals latest World America details

With MSC Cruises’ new vessel ‘World America’ scheduled to set sail from its homeport in Miami in April 2025, and cruises already available to book, MSC continues to reveal detail of its new flagship.

The latest news is the that the MSC World America, will feature seven distinct districts each bringing together a range of tailored experiences, ranging from a dedicated family area or tranquil zen area through to a lively promenade with entertainment, shops, and bars.

Each of the seven districts boasts its own atmosphere, facilities, and experiences, designed to enhance the onboard experience, allowing guests to create a “one-of-a-kind holiday that is uniquely theirs” and maximizing their time on board.

The seven districts include:

FAMILY AVENTURA

At its heart lies The Harbour, a new outdoor park where families can come together to engage in food, fun and sun. Guests will find a high ropes course and a state-of-the-art attraction never before seen at sea that will soon be revealed, along with a family dwelling area and a playground modelled after the iconic lighthouse at Ocean Cay island.

Family Aventura is also home to Doremiland, the action-packed kids’ area with facilities developed for each age range, from babies to teenagers. Add to this bumper cars, roller rinks, high-thrill water slides and a dry slide, ideal for all ages.

AQUA DECK

The the ultimate go-to destination to connect to the ocean and water, and home to the ship’s two main spectacular pools. A chameleon of a space, the deck changes mood depending on the time of day.

From revitalizing wellness offerings and a tranquil atmosphere in the morning to upbeat entertainment throughout the afternoon and high energy parties at night, the district will serve as a vibrant oasis of aquatic delight for all types of guests.

ZEN AREA

High up at the stern of the ship, this exclusive oasis is designed as a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation, offering the ideal space for sunbathing, waterside lounging and taking in breathtaking ocean views.

GALLERIA

This bustling district will offer diverse dining options, exclusive shopping, games at the MSC Luna Park Arena, a shapeshifting high-tech entertainment venue hosting themed parties and gameshows. There will be live music at the Dolce Vita Bar, afternoon coffee and sweet treats at Jean Philippe Chocolat & Café and familiar favourites late into the night at Luna Park Pizza & Burger.

THE TERRACES

Features nine restaurants and bars, four retail shops and a comedy club that also serves as the duelling pianos bar and late-night karaoke make up this special area.

PROMENADE

This lively half-covered outdoor promenade, located on deck 8, offers spectacular views that extend to the top of the ship – framed by the central spiral architectural masterpiece (and 11-deck dry-slide), as well as daily-long offerings from morning coffee to sumptuous dinners and nightly entertainment.

MSC YACHT CLUB

MSC Cruises’ ship-within-a-ship experience opens up to guests staying in this secluded retreat with keycard-only access. On the foredecks of the ship, this guest-favourite makes up MSC World America’s seventh district, offering a privacy, exclusivity and luxury in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Amenities include personalized service in MSC Yacht Club with 24/7 butler service, priority embarkation and disembarkation, exclusive lounge and dining areas and more.

During her inaugural season, MSC World America will sail from Miami with seven-night itineraries to destinations in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, with stops at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve – MSC Cruises’ unique private island paradise in The Bahamas.

Overall, MSC World America will span 22 decks, measure more than 147 m. wide; feature 2,614 cabins; contain more than 40,000 m. of public space; include re-imagined outdoor World Promenade, where unique dining, lounging and entertainment options are paired with stunning ocean views and spectacular LED light shows; the indoor World Galleria – lined with bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques – topped with a state-of-the-art LED and kinetic light ceiling; 13 restaurants and 20 bars; an 11-deck-high dry slide made of stainless steel; six pools and 14 hot tubs; expansive water park; and much more.
