Trevello Travel Group received several accolades at the recent Sandals Awards, both at a company-wide level and individually for two advisors: Lois Barbour and Kim Hartlen.
Canadian sector awards for TTG included: Best of the Best, Top Host Travel Agency in Canada, Worldwide Recognition Award, and Million Dollar Club.
Additionally, Barbour was recognized for Best of the Best, Top Club/Concierge Travel Agency in Canada, Top Butler Elite Travel Agency in Canada, Top Beaches Travel Agency in Canada, Top Sandals Travel Agency in Canada, Chairman Royal Club Diamond Elite, Million Dollar Club, and Top 10 Independent Agencies – Worldwide. And Hartlen earned Best of the Best, Top Sandals Agency in Canada, and Chairman’s Royal Club.

Travel Masters recently celebrated its 2023 Impact Awards Winners with an exclusive VIP trip to St. John’s, Nlfd. (photo above). The special event recognized the outstanding achievements of the agency’s top-performing agents in various categories, and included:

- Land Sales: Filomena Punzo
- Cruise Sales: Davis Robertson (Honorary VIP spot given to Tracy Young)

During the four-day trip, the agents, accompanied by Mark Greenwood, Director of Operations, and Heather Stuart, Recruitment & Support Manager, experienced the true essence of Newfoundland on an itinerary that included visits to iconic spots such as Signal Hill, Brigus, and Petty Harbour.
In conjunction with the trip, Travel Masters also announced a significant change to its rewards program. Starting in 2024, any agent who earns $100,000 in commission will automatically earn a spot on the VIP experience.
Red Label Vacations (RLV)
Red Label Vacations agents took part in a recent FAM trip to Punta Cana, DR, in partnership with WestJet Vacations. Ten top producers from RLV’s multiple retail brands experienced a purpose-driven itinerary designed to celebrate their accomplishments while fostering professional growth.
Throughout the trip, agents had the opportunity to visit a variety of popular properties that WestJet Vacations partners with, including Ocean Blue and Sands, Caribe Deluxe Princess, Grand Bavaro Princess, Bahia Luxury Ambar, Royalton Chic, Majestic Colonial, and multiple Iberostar Hotels & Resorts properties.

Redtag.ca has revamped its call-in experience in collaboration with Local Measure. The collaboration is designed to improve call quality and the overall call-in experience, alongside other backend improvements designed to support exceptional customer support.

F1S
First in Service (F1S), which has a base of operations in Toronto, announced the appointment of Andrés Cortina as its new Director of Partnerships. In the strategic role, he will be integral to expanding F1S’s entertainment travel division, enhancing program offerings, and driving long-term profitability. Cortina joins F1S directly from his role as Account Director of Hotel Program Development at Internova Travel Group. From 2018 through earlier this year, he previously served as Marketing & Supplier Relations Manager at ALTOUR Travel.
