Carnival Cruise Line

Carnival Cruise Line is expanding its Funnel Faves campaign to bring rewards, training and engagement together under one enhanced experience. The evolution includes the transition of Carnival’s former Loyalty Rocks! program into the Funnel Faves Advisor Rewards Program, featuring a refreshed digital experience with new ways for advisors to earn rewards, access training and engage with Carnival year-round through exclusive redemption opportunities and other benefits.

The Funnel Faves Advisor Rewards Program is accessible through GoCCL.com and features an updated homepage with improved navigation, making it easier for advisors to enter bookings, access training, and find the resources they need to grow their business with Carnival.

“Travel advisors are at the heart of great vacations and everything we do,” said Janet Wygert, Sr. VP of trade sales and marketing. “Funnel Faves was created to recognize the incredible impact travel advisors have on our business and the experiences they help create for our guests. By expanding the program, we’re making it even easier for advisors to connect with Carnival, access valuable resources and be recognized for their continued partnership.”

To celebrate the expanded Funnel Faves experience, Carnival is introducing Funnel Faves Double Points Week, a limited-time promotion running this week (July 20-26). Advisors who opt in through GoCCL.com during the promotional period will earn double reward points on all eligible bookings submitted during the promotion with the opportunity to earn up to 1,000 bonus points. Complete promotion details and terms are available on GoCCL.com.

Carnival is also expanding the rewards catalog with new exclusive Funnel Faves branded items, responding to strong interest from the travel advisor community. As a special thank you to advisors, all new items will be available through Aug. 20 at half-off points redemption pricing.

Throughout the year, travel advisors can earn points through eligible bookings, Learn & Earn training, bonus promotions and other engagement opportunities as part of the Funnel Faves experience.

Since launching in Summer of 2025, Funnel Faves has continued to grow as Carnival’s platform for recognizing and engaging the travel advisor community. Through initiatives such as expanded ship tours, Seminars at Sea and Partners in Paradise, Carnival has created more meaningful ways for advisors to engage with the company, experience the Carnival product and gain valuable resources to grow their business.

Internova Travel Group

Internova Travel Group, one of the world’s largest travel services companies, is expanding its investment in sustainable travel education through Green Circle, its companywide sustainability initiative, with an exclusive Arctic educational expedition designed to prepare luxury travel advisors with firsthand expertise in expedition travel, an increasingly popular segment of the luxury travel market.

Developed in partnership with Atlas Ocean Voyages, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and NORDIC STAR, the immersive experience demonstrated how luxury travel and sustainability can go hand in hand while giving advisors the knowledge to help clients make more informed travel choices.

“Through Green Circle, we’re investing in immersive educational experiences that give advisors across our portfolio a deeper understanding of sustainable travel while strengthening the expertise they bring to clients,” said J.D. O’Hara, CEO of Internova Travel Group. “By collaborating with industry-leading partners, we’re creating educational opportunities that benefit advisors, travellers and the destinations they visit.”

During the expedition, luxury travel advisors from across Internova explored sustainability across the travel journey – from expedition cruising and aviation to destination stewardship and hospitality. Highlights included behind-the-scenes discussions with Atlas Ocean Voyages’ leadership on responsible expedition operations, educational sessions on Arctic conservation, visits to sustainability-focused hotels in Norway curated by NORDIC STAR and insights into Scandinavian Airlines’ ongoing sustainability initiatives.

“Experiencing the Arctic firsthand gave me a much deeper understanding of what responsible expedition travel looks like,” said Selma Weisbein, a participating advisor from Global Travel Collection, a division of Internova. “The knowledge and perspective I gained will help me better advise clients seeking meaningful luxury experiences while making more informed travel choices.”

The Arctic expedition marks the second educational journey under Internova’s Green Circle initiative, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to integrating sustainability into advisor education, preferred partner relationships and client engagement.

Collette

Collette has released the latest installment of Collette University 201, designed to help travel advisors better understand and sell the enhancements available to travellers before, during, and after their tour experience. Available now, the module provides an in-depth look at Collette’s most popular add-ons and how advisors can match the right enhancements to the right traveller.

From pre- and post-tour hotel stays and destination extensions to Collette’s industry-leading Travel Protection Plan and comprehensive Transportation Package, the training explores how these offerings can add convenience, flexibility, and peace of mind throughout the travel journey. Advisors will gain practical tips for presenting these options as helpful recommendations rather than a sales pitch, with the added benefit that each enhancement is commissionable.

The Enhancements training module is now live on Collette U. For more information about Collette University or to access the training module, visit Collette’s Travel Advisor Portal.

First in Service (F1S)

First in Service Travel LTD (F1S) has announced that longtime industry veteran Cindy Schlansky has been named its President, North America. In this role, Schlansky will lead North American business strategy and operations. This includes expansion and enhancement of advisor support services, operational process improvement, advancing technology initiatives and staff development.

“Cindy brings a rare combination of exceptional operational rigor, deep advisor empathy and proven leadership,” said Fernando Gonzalez, who has worked closely with Schlansky for more than 20 years. “Her strong history of building scalable support, mentoring teams and driving smart, practical solutions makes her the ideal leader to strengthen our global advisor community and the systems that support them.”

Schlansky brings decades of travel industry experience and an operations-first approach, having progressed from entry-level roles – filing brochures and delivering tickets – to leadership positions across storefront, regional and agency environments. She spent 26 years with Tzell and Global Travel Collection, rising to SVP of Operations and then Co‑President, where she embraced and further refined the independent advisor model.

After a brief retirement in early 2025, Schlansky returned to the industry as an executive advisor with First in Service and quickly transitioned into a senior operational role. Her primary focus is building exceptional support for independent advisors (ICs), developing support staff and future leaders, and creating efficient processes and procedures to improve service delivery. At F1S, she works closely with country leaders and with the technology team on enhancements, new products and operational opportunities.

“I love this business, and I love helping people do their best work,” Cindy said. “I’m excited to partner with our advisors, country leaders and tech and operations teams to make F1S an even stronger, more responsive network.”

A member of Virtuoso, F1S has multiple global offices including Toronto, Vancouver, and soon Montreal.
