RETAIL ROUND-UP: Agent news, fams & incentives

This week: TRAVELSAVERS CANADA is celebrating 25 years; and both Tauck and Oceania Cruises introduced enhanced version of the agent specialist/rewards programs.

TRAVELSAVERS Canada

TRAVELSAVERS Canada is marking its 25th anniversary with the organization now numbering 300 affiliates agencies in this country.

“This anniversary isn’t just about looking back, it’s about building on our momentum for the future,” said Jane Clementino, Sr. VP and GM, who joined TRAVELSAVERS Canada in 2022 and is presiding over an era of rapid growth.

“We’ve remained focused on empowering agencies for 25 years and our success story is really theirs. It’s the result of collaboration, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to growth,” she says.

These a comprehensive suite of programs to enhance agency operations, enhance client engagement, and advance professional development. Agencies have access to initiatives such as Travel Club, OnlineXpress, cruiseexpress, and The Affluent Traveler Collection, which collectively enable advisors to address diverse client needs while fostering business growth.

There is also the Breakaway program, which encourages independent contractors to start their own agencies and strengthen their independence, and an initiative to place and support ICs from other consortia at TRAVELSAVERS Canada agencies.

Tauck

Premium guided travel operator Tauck has made enhancements to its Advisor Rewards Program. Building on agent feedback, Tauck has streamlined the program to provide more flexibility and higher value: advisors can now redeem up to 100 points annually (equivalent to $20,000 in travel value) while earned points remain valid for two years instead of one.

Further, for the first time, advisors can combine points earned across multiple years, creating more opportunities to apply rewards toward Tauck journeys without the pressure of year-end expirations.

Together, says Tauck, these changes make it easier for advisors to enjoy Tauck experiences and bring that knowledge back to their clients.
