This week: Air Canada introduces a rewards program for agents; ACTA names its top 2025 travel advisors at the associations Eastern Canada Summit; and Travel Leaders Network announced dates for its fall regionals events in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Toronto.
Air Canada
The new Air Canada & Me incentive program rewards individual travel agents for booking their customers on its next generation direct booking platform AC Connex, using Aeroplan points as a key driver of the program.
“Travel agents play a remarkable role in supporting the travel experience, uniting people day-in and day-out through their knowledge, expertise, and unwavering dedication. With their trust and dedication, together, we unlock countless possibilities for our shared customers from coast-to-coast across North America and around the world,” said Air Canada Executive VP Mark Galardo, adding, “Offering this program to travel agents reflects our commitment to travel professionals and our deep appreciation for the incredible work that they do every day.”
Tokens are rewarded at a rate of $1 booked and flown equals one token. Once agents have accumulated enough tokens, they can convert to Aeroplan points at a rate of 10 Tokens per point. Once points are transferred into agents’ Aeroplan account, they can redeem for a wide variety of benefits, such as flights; upgrades, hotels, and car rentals; and merchandise at the Aeroplan eStore.
Special promotions will provide further opportunities to earn additional tokens, and all agents who sign up before Oct. 31 will receive 500 bonus tokens plus a 5X tokens bonus on all flights to Europe.

Travel Leaders Network
Travel Leaders Network is bringing its annual Canadian Fall Regional Events to three major cities across the country this October. Registration is open and spots are limited to member advisors. The events provide opportunities to interact with supplier partners, offer leadership insights, connect with peers and learn about top-tier agency enhancement programs in Canada like SNAP Air.
The PEAK Canadian Regional series kicks off in Vancouver on Oct. 21, followed by Edmonton on Oct. 23, and conclude in Toronto on Oct. 30.
“For three days in key markets across Canada, these exclusive gatherings will offer Travel Leaders Network members a chance to celebrate the travel industry’s continued growth, offer comprehensive training sessions, strategies to leverage cutting-edge technology and techniques for growing social media to accelerate business success,” said Lindsay Pearlman, President of Travel Leaders Network.
Regional events serve as mini conferences designed to strengthen connections and foster business growth while extending the educational experience for Travel Leaders Network (TLN) members in local and regional markets across Canada. Educational sessions offer members a chance to learn about our newest programs and the latest enhancements on existing tools.
“Canada is one of our fastest-growing markets, and the Fall Regionals are a chance to bring our advisors and partners together in person to exchange ideas, discover new opportunities and celebrate their successes,” said Christine James, CTM, Travel Leaders Network’s VP, Canada. “These events are designed to empower advisors with unique tools, resources, and the insights they need to finish the year strong and prepare for an even more successful 2026.”
