Independent rail vacation provider Railbookers has unveiled a new and expanded collection of itineraries that celebrate travelling around the world by luxury train. The 2026 collection includes four new itineraries ranging from 29 to 48 days aboard some of the world’s most desired trains.

And notably returning for 2026 is the flagship “Around the World by Luxury Train” journey, which will feature new trains, hotels and activities over two months, alongside four departures throughout the year that highlight the company’s industry-leading collection of luxury trains.

“Luxury train travel continues to be one of the biggest trends and desires we see among our guests, and we’re delighted to bring back our signature trip along with a newly expanded lineup of journeys that showcase everything travellers desire on a five-star, luxury jaunt across the globe,” said Frank Marini, President & CEO of Railbookers Group. “Whether it’s new luxury trains, iconic and unique hotel accommodations and much more, our team has improved upon this already remarkable experience.”

’Around the World’ itinerary

The ‘Around the World by Luxury Train’ itinerary, which features eight iconic luxury train routes across the globe, will commence in Vancouver on Sept. 2, 2026. On this 60-day trip, guests will embark on the Rocky Mountaineer before enjoying scenic Banff, then fly to the United Kingdom.

There, in between stays in Edinburgh and London, they will enjoy the Grand Suite onboard the Belmond Royal Scotsman as well as the new Britannic Explorer, followed by a flight to Italy for the classic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to Paris, along with the cross-continental journey on the vaunted train to Istanbul.

A flight takes guests to Delhi, where they will spend six nights enjoying the culture and cuisine of India onboard the Maharajas’ Express, before flying to South Africa. There, they’ll enjoy epic experiences onboard Rovos Rail as well as a three-night stay at the Kruger Shalati “train on the bridge” hotel. They then fly to Singapore to complete their once-in-a-lifetime trip with a three-night journey on the Eastern & Oriental Express.
